Why Getting an Online Tarot Reading With The Enchanted Tarot is Just As Good As Getting a Reading From a "Real" Tarot Reader With Cards

Many people ask if it is possible to get an accurate, useful tarot reading online, without using actual tarot cards. The short answer is "yes" and here's a little story to illustrate my point.

Before there were tarot cards there were people who practiced divination by using augury, the ancient practice of foretelling events by observing the actions of birds and other animals and — skip to the next sentence if you get squeamish — by "reading" the entrails of animals.

I can just see the practitioner of this terrible and messy practice being interrupted by someone telling him that there's a new invention on the scene — cards! You just have to shuffle the cards and look at the one or more that you pick and then meditate on their meaning and then you suddenly see with your inner sight what "the gods" are trying to tell you.

And I can just imagine his reaction as his many years of training and attachment to the old tools of his are threatened, "Cards! Hah! How are you going to predict the future and give advice without (if you're squeamish, go get a tarot reading. You get the idea!) killing something and looking at its insides? There's no blood, no guts! It won't work! It can't work! It's a novelty, a fad. You'll see, people will go back to augury in a few weeks."
