The Dream  
The King of Hearts is the gentle ruler of this kingdom by the sea. His costume reflects his creativity and imagination but he himself has a quiet temperament. He is a good husband and father and can be relied upon to be considerate and affectionate. His presence inspires confidence. As he is, in a way, like a clergyman --non-judgmental and kind --people seek out his council. His intuitive powers enable him to read the intentions of those around him. He is able to forgive all, even those who have made the mistake of taking his kindness for a sign of weakness. Always a true gentleman, he has a calm and mannerly demeanor. But his genuine self-control can suddenly become a thin veneer masking a fierce inner turmoil if his jealous nature is aroused.
