Interpreting the Cards

When you turn over the card or cards that you have selected for your spread, pay attention not only to the words printed on the cards themselves but to the feelings that are evoked in you by the images you see. Notice the colors, environment and attitude of the tarot figures. Let your mind 'free associate', a term used to describe the conscious mind's power to communicate with our Higher Self using symbols, the language of the Land of Our Dreams. Your first impression upon seeing the various card images will lead to an image in your mind, which will, if allowed to, inspire a further series of images connected and directed by your Higher Self. In a few moments your conscious mind will understand the symbolism and you will have your answer. This is the way of The High Priestess and it is very powerful indeed.

The cards of The Enchanted Tarot do not tell you about a future that is immutable and 'etched in stone'. They offer you guidance based on the state of both your development and the conditions of the situation you are asking about at the moment that you ask. Only your emotional response to the answer you receive and how you use your free will to put your decisions into action will determine your future. If you find that the answer you receive is not one you consider to be a favorable one, you are advised to use the One Card technique, at first, and later on the Three Level spread to receive advice about how to obtain a more favorable outcome.
