Astro*Logical Reason For Today's Craziness
I don't know about you, but I have NEVER seen things as crazy in my business life as I do today. I mean, REALLY! I've been a psychic astrologer and tarot reader since the 1970's and all that time I've felt that the ultimate goal of those totally useful studies is to reach the point where I usually feel so in harmony with things both personal and business-wise that I don't have to pay close attention to anything except Amy, Zane, and everyone I meet and interact with. I'm still having fun and I'm still being present, at least most of the time, but what's going on in the world around me for the past several months has built up and built up to the point where I just took a good look at the position of the planets at this hour and, WOW! Big things are brewing!!!!
The word "horoscope" comes from "scope," to look at, and "horo," as in hour, so a horoscope is literally to look at the hour one is born - the minute or second works best - or to look at how planetary influences are affecting world events.
Do planetary influences really affect world events? I don't blame you for being skeptical, but I've seen so much accurate correlation in my time here on Earth that I would be a moron not to say there's something to it. Let me tell you what I see, as an astrologer with more than thirty years experience and my own take on astrology and the history of the Earth, God, and human beings, and see if you agree with me or not. It may not be totally satisfying, but it will certainly be interesting. OK, here goes:
We are all riding a planet called Earth, a planet that could just as easily be called Ocean or Crystal since that is what covers most of it's surface. The planet we are riding is revolving at a very fast speed, yet we don't feel it, thankfully. And not only is it revolving, it's moving forward on an elliptical path around a giant ball of incredibly hot flaming gas we call the Sun that keeps us alive because we're at a near perfect 93 million miles away from it, and dragging a giant round chunk of rock we call the Moon that scientists now say originally came from the body of Earth and whose gravitational pull affects the ocean tides all the time.
Now I ask you, are we influenced by the Earth, the Sun and the Moon? You're damn right we are and if you don't think so, don't bother reading the rest of this. I mean, we're influenced by the person in the next room, by our pets, our cellphones, by our thoughts, by our food, our medicines, the liquids we ingest; human beings are very sensitive and subject to the subtle influences of just about everything. With the advent of Chaos Theory, we know that a butterfly flapping it's wings in Tokyo can influence just about everything on Earth, so why not giant balls of rock and/or gas we call planets, from the Greek word for "wanderer" because the visible planets (up to Saturn) appeared to be stars that moved around through the zodiac. The planets exert measurable gravitational force on each other so is it that much of a stretch to imagine that us sensitive humans are in some way too influenced by these measurable gravitational forces from these distant planets?
I have great respect for science and scientists, even though they don't really know what gravity is (or electricity, or where the mind is and how it works, and...) And I respect them even if they don't respect each other and competing theories. But they really annoy me when they prove with ignorant words and deeds that the only thing all scientists seem to agree on is that astrology cannot have any validity. That's like me claiming to know more than them about their area of expertise without knowing a damn thing about it. Take it from me, there's something to astrology. It's been studied for literally tens of thousands of years and it can prove very valuable at times like these.
And what times these are. Nothing is certain. Giant changes coming at the same time that nothing seems to be changing. But these are not the "interesting times" of the Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times." These are strangely enough the most boring of times because we can't seem to get anything out of first or maybe second gear. It's not just that the old ways are inappropriate and don't work, the old ways refuse to leave and make room for the new ways. And the new ways! They don't work either! Or if they work, they bring unintended consequences that limit their workings to basic damage control. I KNOW you know what I'm talking about. Why? Because when the astrological influences of the planets, near and far, are this powerful, they affect EVERYONE!
Yep, EVERYONE is like a wind-up toy whose spring has been over-wound and now it seems that we're broken, even though we have all this stored potential kinetic energy inside us yearning to break out and energize us to do great things. But we're feeling this powerful powerlessness, all of us on this spinning planet, so is it any wonder that no one seems willing to start the ball rolling, any ball, except those who HAVE TO start something for some reason or another.
But what are they running into? Everyone working with them or buying from them or selling to them or living with them feeling like I've described above. Here's the astrology of it all.
Did you ever see polarized sunglasses? Take two pairs of them, face one lens of each pair together and slowly spin one of those facing lenses and and you'll notice something strange. When the lenses are ninety degrees to each other, they go completely black, you cannot see even the brightest lights through those two facing lenses. Why? Polarizing glass makes light coherent, only the up and down rays get through, and when you have two lenses like that and they are at ninety degrees to each other, they cancel each other out and no light gets through.
In the sky today, tonight, whatever, are several major planets also arranged at ninety degree angles to each other. Are their energies canceling each other out? Let me describe them to you and you tell me if they're canceling each other out.
The focal point of this "T-Square," two or more planets opposite each other with one or more at ninety degrees to them, is the planet Pluto. Yes, I know, the genius scientists of today have decided that they know more than the ancient astrologers of Sumeria - we're talking five thousand years ago at the very least - and demoted Pluto from planet to planetoid - big mistake. In astrology, Pluto "rules" or is associated with our id, unconscious and superconscious mind. I don't know about you, but I don't want to piss off any of those aspects of myself. The Sumerians called Pluto "Gaga." Coincidence, Lady Gaga fans? I don't think so. Pluto, which rules the sign of Scorpio, the sign that, in turn, rules sex, death, regeneration, and power, is currently in the fourth degree of the sign of Capricorn. So those of you born during the early days of Capricorn (or late Sagittarius), you have the Lord of the Underworld, as the Greeks called Pluto, sitting on your Sun, your purpose, your vitality. Make sense with the way you're feeling? I thought it would.
So, what's ninety degrees away from the fourth degree of Capricorn, where Pluto is very slowly chugging along? Why, the fourth degree of the sign of Aries and it's opposite sign, Libra. So, those of you born during the early days of those signs are having that polarizing quality imposed upon your purpose, your vitality, your will to power. Pluto, a powerhouse in its own right, is not outright squashing you, like those born during the early days of Capricorn. But Pluto is stressing you, polarizing you, not allowing you any wiggle room in your thoughts and purpose. In fact, all of you under this influence may feel that your thoughts are either obsessive or boringly running around in circles. This is why so many people feel exhausted all the time, no matter how much rest they're getting. Stress is debilitating and the stress of Pluto squaring your Sun in early Aries (or late Pisces, for that matter) and early Libra (or late Virgo for that matter!) is the creme de la creme of stress. Pluto is the life and death planet, so everything seems to be a matter of life and death, even if you know it isn't.
But what if you were not born at those times I just mentioned? Why should Pluto have any influence on you, on all of us at the same time? Because there are planets chugging along around both the four degree of the sign Aries (Jupiter AND Uranus!), and the sign Libra (Saturn!!!!!!) Ay yi yi. If you knew astrology, you'd be nodding your head like I was when I looked at the planetary positions tonight. What a shitstorm! Is there good in it. Er, sure, it's in there, but don't try to look for it. The thing to do now is to best get through the storm and, when you get through it, you'll be able to see the good that it brought you. Until then, don't waste valuable time and energy. There's too much not going on, which can be as important and challenging as too much going on, and you have to get through the storm, remember?
So, Pluto is polarized to Jupiter and Uranus in Aries and to Saturn in Libra - so what? I got chills just writing "so what." The so what is that this really is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, just like the catchy song from the play Hair, in all its Aquarian glory. Aquarius is about The Future, so much so that the danger of Aquarian energy is that it will wreak havoc and destabilize old and traditional ways that have supreme, time-tested value in its effort to force the future on society, whether it wants it or not. Aquarian energy is revolutionary and revolutions almost always "throw out the baby with the bath-water."
But why do I mention Aquarius all of a sudden? Because of the planet Uranus, the ruling planet of the sign Aquarius, is in the sign of Aries, the sign of the pioneer, and it's right next to (when projected on the plane of the zodiac) the planet Jupiter, thought to be the largest planet in our solar system, though science has recently discovered that the Sumerians were correct in their understanding that the rings of Saturn extend so far out into space that it makes Saturn as big if not bigger than Jupiter!)
It's easy to understand astrology by assigning keywords to the planets and signs and playing with them. Pluto is power, right? And Uranus is revolutionary, eccentric, genius, humanity. And Jupiter is big, expansion, positive, growth. So we have Powerful Revolutionary Growth. Power to Humanity Grows (the Bloom Energy technology?) That's the good news. Eccentric Growth of Power. Humanity Grows Eccentric (that sounds like it, no?)
Tune in tomorrow for the conclusion of our astrological exploration of the T-Square in the Sky that is strongly impelling us forward, but with the brake on. There's hope, a lot of it, but we have to know what's going on to deal with these powerful forces. |
