Who is trying to kill The Future? More importantly (to you),
who is trying to steal your future and that of those you care about? For, you
see, that to me is the symbolic essence of the rare and powerful astrological
Gunfight At The OK Corral now going on in the zodiac, the narrow band of sky
through which the planets appear to move in the night sky.
As I’ve been writing this mini-book on the fly for you, dear
Friend and Fan of Amy Zerner and/or The Enchanted World of Amy Zerner &
Monte Farber (both on Facebook) and/or our website www.TheEnchantedWorld.com, I have
come to realize that the pressures on all of us from the giant planet T-Square
going on now require that I stop teaching the astrology of what’s going on and
start getting down to how this T-Square in Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra and
Capricorn) is affecting each of us individually.
Oh, Cardinal signs. Almost forgot to explain what that
means. The expression “Wheels within wheels” is a great description for
astrology. You know about there being twelve signs of the zodiac, and you may
know about Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo,
Capricorn), Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), and Water Signs (Cancer,
Scorpio, Pisces), but it is the rare person who knows that there are also
Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn). There are also Fixed and
Mutable groupings of four signs, both of them containing one each of a Fire,
Water, Air, and Earth Sign. See, wheels within wheels.
But let’s talk about the Cardinal Signs first because the
four Cardinal signs are all bearing the brunt of this T-Square and it is very
hard for them because the essence of the Cardinal Signs is that they are
goal-oriented! They want to get somewhere and they don’t like to be stopped!!!
Ay yi yi!! Can you see what I’m saying? Here they are, having lived their whole
lives being goal oriented, driving toward a goal and expecting to get there in
a reasonable amount of time with a reasonable amount of resistance, but they
are being stopped in their forward motion at every turn. All of their proven
skills are not working the way they used to and this is both shocking and frustrating.
The Cardinal Signs are going through what is called a “Dark Night of the Soul,”
a difficult time when one’s faith is sorely tested, described in our Enchanted
Tarot Card “The Moon.” Here’s a link to its movie which is hosted in our Members Mystery School
on our website, www.TheEnchantedWorld.com
. It is well worth watching Amy’s incredible tapestry come to life and explain
The Dark Night of the Soul to you.
In keeping with the essence of The Moon tarot card, I will
also call on my psychic abilities and spirit guides herein to add relevance to
my writing that I might not otherwise have. If you find that off-putting, here’s
a link to a video clip of a prediction about the oil company BP that I made in
February of 2010 for www.TheStreet.com,
Jim Cramer’s excellent website (excellent not just because they’ve allowed me
to make a series of financial psychic predictions for the past two years,
documenting my hits and misses). I’m asked by producer Alix Steele about a
series of energy stocks and when I get to BP I said on camera, “Big trouble
coming.”
I didn’t know what the heck I was talking about at the time,
that’s the way psychic information often works – when it just tumbles out like
that, the info is almost never wrong -
but I unfortunately know now what the spirits were trying to tell me.
The BP oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico is a
planetary-level symbol of the T-Square I’ve been writing about, symbolizing the
closing of the Age of Pisces as the Age of Aquarius dawns, as I wrote in Part I
of this mini-book.
But let’s get to how this astrological shit-storm is
affecting each of the signs individually and by the time we get to Pisces (the
last of the 12 signs), I will try to give you a lot of what you need to know to
understand what’s going on at the personal and planetary consciousness level,
too.
When major angles (called aspects by astrologers) occur
between planets, all of humanity is affected. But with billions of people in
the mix, each of them having a unique astrological chart (yes, even twins have
a slightly different chart), how the major aspect, in this case the Big
Cardinal T-Square, affects a person is different and unique to that person,
symbolized by where it occurs in their chart. It is a bit like the brilliant
classic movie, “Rashomon,” directed by Akira Kurosowa in 1950 ( the year of my
birth), where a terrible crime is revealed through the eyes of several people,
all of whom saw the same thing yet all of who recall it differently. With a
major astrological aspect, we are all going to see it and experience it
differently, depending on what astrological houses the planets in question are
occupying in our chart.
Speaking of houses, like our homes, this aspect might be
affecting you in your interactions with your career, yet your partner is
experiencing it through your experience of it. To make that a bit clearer, you
might be experiencing the T-Square as trouble in your work and your partner
experiencing it as having to deal with a partner who is having trouble at work.
The same theme or flavor or tone or whatever you want to call it is working at
the both of you, but how the experience is manifesting for you is quite
different. I hope that was clear enough. Now, on to the different signs!
Although there is plenty for you to learn in the following
“through the signs” delineation of how the Big T-Square is affecting your
astrological sign, there is a lot for you to learn when you read how its
affecting the charts of those you care about, too, including bosses and
co-workers who can affect you for good or ill, as well as friends and family.
So read yours first and then read the sign of those you care about. And
parents, listen to me, read yours first. It’s like the way the airlines tell
you to put your oxygen mask on first before you put it on your minor child
flying with you. I know you love your children, but first see how the T-Square
is affecting you because you have to give yourself all the help you can get to
keep yourself calm and centered before you start realizing what they’re going through
and planning how to help them get through it.
OK, finally! Here is how the Cardinal T-Square of 2010 is
affecting the Sun in the various signs, in the order of the zodiac, so Aries
first.
ARIES
You poor things. With the planets Uranus (invention,
disruption, newness) and Jupiter (expansion, growth, making it big) both in
your sign and within five degrees of each other (out of 360 – that’s close!),
the energies that they are sending to your natal (birth chart) Sun in Aries are
coherent and positive and extreme. You are both restless and more ready for
action than you’ve ever been but almost all of the actions you’re ready for
(and already in, for that matter) require the participation of at least one
other person and…well, let’s just say that they’re not ready for action. To
you, they don’t appear ready for anything resembling action. In fact, they
appear dangerously close to reversing all the progress that they’ve made and
regressing, something you despise and, even worse, you fear. Fear is homeopathic
to almost all Aries people. Just a little bit of fear makes you afraid big time
because, after all, you’re almost never afraid, you’re the pioneers of the
zodiac. But if a little burr of fear gets under your saddle, you start bucking
like a bronco trying to shake it off. All Aries must now calm down and realize
that everyone is not like them and is not getting the message from
Uranus/Jupiter conjunct in Aries that NOW is the time for you to do great
things. I know YOU are, but they are not. And now IS the time for you to do
great things, but you have to “make haste slowly,” a saying fashionable in the
Renaissance and symbolized by the Dolphin jumping over an Anchor. Our dear
departed friend and astrological mentor, Leor Warner, turned me on to that phrase
and concept and now is the time for it to apply to Aries people.
If Saturn was not racing towards the fourth degree of Libra,
breaking out of Virgo where it’s been for the past two and a half years, Aries
people would be zipping ahead unfettered by limitations, which is Saturn’s
specialty. But Saturn is close enough to opposing Uranus/Jupiter in Aries for
me to say that, on a planetary level, humanity is lurching forward with the
break (Saturn) on. Saturn just doesn’t say “Whoa!” to those planets in Aries
(including your Sun, dear Aries), it says that the most positive, exuberant
(Jupiter), and revolutionary (Uranus) thing you can do for your personal
benefit at this juncture in history is to put a lid made of realism on your
enthusiasm and move cautiously.
That feeling is present in the horoscope of everyone on
Earth right now but Aries people are feeling it as an adversarial relationship
more than almost any sign. It’s not easy, to be sure, but the potential for
that positive growth and even out of the blue luck is as real as the energies
trying to hold Aries down and drag them back. Saturn, for all of its faults,
rewards those who endure, who do what must be done, who don’t take shortcuts,
and who don’t complain.
TAURUS
All you Taurus people out there, you might think that what
I’m writing sounds like I’ve lost my mind. The reason for this is two-fold. For
one thing, Aries and Libra are 30 and 150 degrees away from your sign. Taurus the
Bull comes after Aries the Ram in the zodiac (as in zoo, a procession of
Animals, though many of the zodiac’s signs are not animals). The signs that are
next to each other are much more different than the signs that are opposite
each other, like Aries and Libra (and Taurus and Scorpio, for that matter). The
signs that are opposite each other are, in a very real way, complimentary to
each other and contain a bit of each other like the Yin-Yang symbol.
What I’m trying to say here is the long axis of this
T-Square, Uranus/Jupiter opposite Saturn in Libra, is occurring in the next
sign over from Taurus and it’s like distant thunder – you know it’s happening,
but it’s not raining on you yet. Big forces may be aligning in ways that will
challenge your purpose, but even if you could be in the room with them as they
plot against you, you’d realize that the best thing you can do now to deal with
their nefarious plans is be your kind, patient, practical Taurus self – that’ll
get ‘em!
Taurus is experiencing the long axis of this T-Square in a
relatively positive way, in that everyone has been slowed down and forced to be
concerned with how they put each foot down, when they’re lucky enough to know
where they’re going. Taurus people are usually cautious (unless they’ve been
pushed too far, then watch out!) and so they are having a bit of a vacation
from everyone telling them to hurry up. This T-Square is a time of caution and
patience, and so Taurus people are right at home.
If this sounds too good to be true, Taurus person, it is,
because it is now time for me to FINALLY get back to Pluto/Gaga, which is
squaring the Aries/Libra planets and causing the T-Square. Pluto is in the sign
of Capricorn, and so that makes a “trine,” a 120 degree angle to your Taurus
Sun and that is POSITIVE, hooray! Sort of.
Pluto is all about power, transformation, and the powers
that cause transformation. Yes, it’s a little bitty thing that scientists
recently stripped of its planetary status, but here’s a prediction: Pluto will
be a planet again. It’s all about death and resurrection, so now as a planet, it’s
dead to astronomers (not to astrologers, Pluto, not to astrologers!)
When Pluto is making a trine aspect to your Taurus Sun, it
means that this is a time when you can actually make transformational changes
to your purpose in life and things related to your ego and do so without
screwing everything else up. The force is with you, so to speak. But the sort
of thing about this positive energy is that trines are harmonious, but easy, so
easy that you can sleep right through them because the energies are flowing
nicely. You can either take a nap on the riverbank and watch the energies flow
or put your boat in the stream and use this positive current to make big
changes. Taurus is not exactly known for passing up an opportunity for a nice,
stable, safe, unchallenging time. Hey, you love luxury and why not? All I’m
saying is that, for you, this T-Square is at the very least calling upon you to
help others who are being tossed around (or made to stay perfectly still) but
it. And you can grow through that.
Gemini
The T-Square is basically a blessing for Gemini, though it
may be a blessing in disguise. The Aries/Libra polarity is 60 and 120 degrees
away from your Sun in Gemini, what astrologers call a sextile (60 degrees) and
we’ve already talked about the trine (120). These are both positive angles and
so the energies are harmonized.
Gemini people can now indeed make haste slowly and do things
to benefit them and those they care about. They can make plans for the future,
bring the future to life, be disciplined in a way that doesn’t depress them,
and be optimistic.
The obvious problem is that everyone else is going to think
you’re nuts, a Pollyanna, and the not so obvious problem is that you’re going
to agree with them! So the problem for
Gemini people is that you may alternate between the extremes of making fast
progress and then negating it with negative thoughts and deeds. You are not
going to be your usual two selves, you must get a grip on your inner dialogue
or you are going to be more like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This is obviously a
big problem for those around you, who are experiencing this T-Square in their
own private stress-theater.
Pluto in Capricorn is 150 degrees away from Gemini and 30
degrees away from Sagittarius. Read Taurus/Scorpio to see why that makes
Pluto’s obsessive power struggle like distant thunder to you – it’s happening
somewhere, but not to you. But it is, of course, it’s just that there’s no way
you can see it clearly. So all you can do is be your usually communicative,
brisk and brusque self, trying your best to know all the ins and outs, and if
you find yourself obsessing about something, write it down and be done with it
for a couple of days at least before you make a big change.
I'll post Cancer, Leo, and Virgo tomorrow. Remember, just because your Sun is in a different sign doesn't mean that you shouldn't read how this aspect is affecting others who you care about and who can have an affect on you. And if you know your chart, you should read the sign your Moon is in, too, keeping in mind that it's not your purpose and vitality being affected by the big T-Square, it's your emotions and habits. See you tomorrow!
