Who is trying to steal the future? Astrologically, that
effort is symbolized by the Cardinal T-Square that is going on right now and
for the next several months. If you haven’t already done so, please read the first
three parts to this mini-book I’m writing so you can get the most out of the
info below. I am quite excited about the great reaction I’ve gotten to this
mini-book. It may be a first, an astrology book written on the fly during a
major, major aspect about that aspect and given away for free to our Facebook
Friends and Fans and to those who read my blog at our major, major website, www.TheEnchantedWorld.com, where
you can get truly free tarot readings, astrology readings, alchemy readings,
and daily affirmations, besides learning about our Enchanted World. But enough
about me (and Amy), it’s time for you to be able to read some in-depth stuff
about you, dear reader. That’s the trouble with the avalanche of blogs and
words and comments online today – so little of it is about YOU or actually
gives you tools to DO SOMETHING to deal with life at this most challenging
time.
In Part 4, we’re going to talk about how this major
astrological event is affecting the Signs of Cancer, Leo, and Virgo, but even
if your Sun is in a different sign of the zodiac, read what the T-Square is
doing to these and the previous three signs – Aries, Taurus, and Gemini - so
you can understand a bit of what people whom you know are going through, I mean
people whom you know who were born when the Sun was in those signs. We’ll post
Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius tomorrow and then Capricorn, Aquarius, and
Pisces the day after.
CANCER
Those of you with the Sun in Cancer may have noticed when I
previously wrote that Cancer is one of the four Cardinal Signs and thought,
WOW!, the signs involved in this Cardinal T-Square are the other three,
Aries/Libra/Capricorn, I dodged that bullet! Well, that is yet to be determined
because that T-Square is aimed at you in the form of other people and
circumstances arrayed in ways that challenge you as you have never been
challenged.
For one thing, Pluto/Gaga is in your opposite sign,
Capricorn, and so other people and/or circumstances (probably both!) are trying
to control you in some way. Capricorn is the sign of business and respect
(reputation) and authority, so either authority figures (government, bosses,
teachers, powerful people) are challenging you, your business/job/finances,
and/or your reputation, or your authority in those areas is being challenged by
others, be they authorities or simply your friends, family, and possibly even
strangers.
When Pluto is in opposition to your Sun, you feel
compulsions and obsessions more strongly than usual. I may be the first to say
this, but I think one unheralded aspect of the dawning Age of Aquarius is that
humanity has allowed compulsive and obsessive behavior to rise to the surface,
not necessarily so that it can become the new “normal,” though there is a
danger of this happening, but so that it can finally be accepted that we all
have a “shadow” side of ourselves and therefore can finally be acknowledged,
integrated, and thereby deprived of its power to destroy us and our
relationships.
I am in no way excusing the incredibly stupid, insensitive,
and self-destructive behavior that seems to be plaguing everyone in the news of
late (I’m talking to you, Mel Gibson, and the politicians too numerous to
mention – OK, I have to mention Elliot Spitzer, former Governor of New York who
is showing us all how to use the Pluto energy of the T-Square to resurrect
himself!) What I am saying is that for Cancer people, they are being forced
(that’s what Pluto does!) to either face their obsessions and compulsions or
use them for their own benefit, like being compulsively attentive to a dietary
and/or exercise regime that is designed to improve or even save their health.
So, at the very same time that Pluto is opposing a Cancer
person’s Sun and trying to force them to transform themselves in some way,
Uranus/Jupiter in Aries is squaring the Sun in Cancer and saying “You should be
having more fun and doing things your own way.” Not a pair of easy to blend
energies, dear Cancer people. Not an easy time for you.
For Saturn, all by it’s lonesome at the tail end of Virgo,
soon to be in Libra, this miss-matched bunch of planetary energies is a piece
of cake; Saturn knows how you handle them, you put the brakes on them, you
limit them, you inject patience into the mix, you test every theory in the
crucible of reality. In short, you make haste slowly by putting the brakes on.
So, we’re once again back to trying to make drastic changes
that are essentially positive but which can only be done by gunning your engine
full speed ahead and all the while knowing that you are going to be brought to
a screeching halt either this time or the next time. It’s like you’re a jet
fighter pilot but you are limited to landing and taking off on an aircraft
carrier, where a steam powered piston rockets you into the air faster than you
can go yourself and a giant cable grabs you by the tail when you try to land on
the aircraft carrier. And did you know that carrier pilots have to gun their
engines full throttle when they land on the pitching and yawing deck of the
ship and are caught by the steel cable, just in case something goes wrong and
they have to take off again. Welcome to your new profession, dear Cancer
people; you are now a symbolic aircraft carrier jet pilot!
LEO
No matter what Leo people are going through, we know it
because Leo is the sign of demonstration, an act which includes acting,
display, representation, and generally "not hiding your light beneath a bushel
basket,” as the Bible advises us. Things are not going too badly for Leo people
now, at least where this T-Square is concerned. Leo, like Aries, is a Fire
Sign. Fire Sign people are all about action, faith, and the truth. And the
various Element Signs, Fire – Earth – Air and Water, are all 120 degrees away
from each other, and as you may remember, that angle/aspect is called a “trine”
and is very positive, if you take action and take advantage of the
smooth-flowing energies and don’t laze out like a male lion on an African savannah
waiting for the females to hunt down lunch and drag it over to him, the way I
put food down in front of Zane, our handsome and wise shaman silver tabby cat.
So the good news for Leo people is that Jupiter and Uranus
in Aries is in trine aspect to their Sun and so if they get off their butts and
take action, they have a very good chance of succeeding at bringing positive
newness into their life. This can be a lucky time because Jupiter is lucky by
itself and Uranus is all about sudden, out of the blue stuff designed to keep
your life from getting boring.
The catch is that if you don’t get off your butt and bring
newness into your life then the planet Uranus will be more than happy to do it
for you. Usually, you don’t want this to happen, you want to do it on your own
terms, but with this trine aspect in play, it won’t be the usual OMG!- inducing
surprise festival that Uranus gifts us with during the “hard” aspects, such as
squares (ninety degrees) and oppositions (180 degrees). Those angles should
sound familiar because those are the angles that are making up this damn
T-Square! But, like Uranus’ surprises, the T-Square is not all bad. It is a
challenge to all of us to prove our point and, to use a gambling term, to make
our point – by that I mean WIN! What we win is determined by what we’re dealing
with and that’s the point.
In fact, if you have found yourself thinking or even saying “What
is the point?” a lot lately, then you are feeling the T-Square’s stress
pressure appropriately. We are all being challenged to not only ask that
question, but to answer it in no uncertain terms. I mean that, no UNCERTAIN
terms. This is a time when we ALL have got to decide what we are CERTAIN about
and act out our character, not just simply act out our anxieties. So, remember,
what is the point? is exactly the point.
The areas that are most favored are where the planets
Jupiter and Uranus (and for that matter, Saturn in Libra) fall in your chart,
dear Leo (and everyone else - see, I said that EVERYONE should read every sign!) It’s not too hard to have your chart done for free on the web and it’s
fairly easy to see where these “transiting” planets fall in your birth (natal)
chart. This is true for everyone, though for those signs having a difficult
time of this T-Square, you can use the same technique to see where stress is
setting up shop in your life.
Back to Saturn in Libra. It’s not there yet, but it will be
soon and when it does it will be making a sixty degree angle, a sextile, to
your Sun in Leo. This is also a positive aspect/angle like the trine, but it is
not such an obvious gift, you do have to work it for it to manifest, unlike the
trine which is often like manna from Heaven, dropping in your lap.
When Saturn sextiles your Sun (listen up Sagittarians!), you
can actually be rewarded for having endured years of difficult drudgery and
sacrifice. Of course, you will not be rewarded according to your wishes,
exactly, you will be rewarded the way Saturn wants to reward you, often with
more free time to do what you want to do and not what you have to do (the way
you have to when Saturn is squaring your Sun, like it’s doing now to Capricorn
and Cancer Sun people. One problem with Saturn’s rewards is that Saturn used to
be called “Chronos,” as in Chronometer, and Saturn is all about time and
structure and stability. As Saturn influences your Sun through hard aspects,
you change. You change slowly, like a plant grows, and by the time the hard
aspect is over you are a different person in that your needs and desires have
changed. So even if you were to be rewarded with exactly what you’ve been
dreaming about while Saturn was testing you, all that time, you would not be
entirely pleased to receive the reality of that dream because you’ve aged and
matured and now different things are what turn you on.
So, I know that this Leo essay has not been enough about Leo
Sun people to please them – hey, that’s how you roll, I get it, I’m a Leo
Rising Sign! – but come on Leo now, smile on your brother, every body get
together, try and love one another right now. I know, it’s a song lyric from
the sixties, but it’s applicable. You Leo people are having a relatively easy
time of this T-Square and so you cannot be your usual show-offy “Everything is
great! How about you!” with others.
People are really hurting now. You should not lie, just don’t rub anyone’s
nose in how you are not completely stymied at every turn by events in your
personal and business life. Be present for those who need you because they
really need you now.
A BRIEF TIME OUT FOR AN IMPORTANT FACT
AT THIS POINT, I have to add an important fact about
astrology that MUST be remembered. I could have told you about this earlier,
but it would have confused you big time. What I’m talking about is the fact
that as you are reading what I’ve written for the various Sun Signs, it seems
like some are under attack and some are snoozing in the hammock. This is most
certainly not he case. We are ALL under stress from this T-Square and not just
because it falls SOMEWHERE in EVERYONE’s chart.
We have talked about everyone’s Sun Sign and we have talked
about Saturn, Uranus, Jupiter, and Pluto/Gaga. Each and every one of these
planets was present at the moment of your birth, along with The Moon, Mercury,
Venus, Mars, and Neptune, ten planets in everyone’s astrology chart. And there’s
a very good chance that you have one or more planets being touched by the
planets of this T-Square. So when it seems like I’m giving a free pass to
certain signs, do not forget that I’m writing about aspects/angles to a person’s
Sun Sign, which symbolizes their purpose in life, their ego, and their
vitality. It is that aspect of their life which is getting less stress than
that off some of the other signs. But they are feeling the T-Square, you can
rest assured. They are simply lucky to not have the pressures being exerted so
close to their life’s essence. The rest of us are defending our lives, like in
the great movie of the same name starring Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep – see it
if you haven’t, it’s a classic.
VIRGO
The good news is that Pluto/Gaga is in Capricorn, and Earth
Sign, and so it’s trine to your Sun in Virgo. It’s up to you, either you can
worry less or your worries can become your best worries ever, true works of art, masterpieces of the art of
tearing something apart in the hope of fixing it. You may fix it, but it will
never be the same. Only Virgos know what I’m talking about here.
If you’ve been a’hankerin’ to do some remodelin', either on
your ranch, home or on yourself, the next few years would be a good time to do so. You
can plan until your heart is content, just don’t expect the plans to make it
into reality without major changes. The Jupiter/Uranus in Aries – Saturn in
Libra long axis of this T-Square is doing the distant thunder thing for you
now. But of all the signs, I have a psychic feeling that Virgo Sun people are
going to feel Saturn trying to get in your way as if it was still in the Sign
of Virgo, where it’s been for the past two and half years.
It’s as if you’ve been trained like one of Pavlov’s dogs and
the slightest hint of discipline, restriction, or anyone being critical of you
(including you, the worst offender in that department), and it’s just like
Saturn is back in Virgo, kicking your butt and trying to take all the fun out
of life. Relax, you’ve been through a lot. Let Pluto in Capricorn help you
resurrect yourself, your FUN self, and don’t let Saturn scare you through the
window, it’s going into Libra soon.
Jupiter and Uranus are way distant thunder for you, and I
get that you are going to be spared some of the more drastic upheaval that some
of the other signs are experiencing.
Once again, these essays are generalizations about the Sun
Signs, so I’m not giving anyone a Get Out Of T-Square Free card, Amy and me
included. We are right in the thick of it, having mucho planets in Libra
(both), Aries (Amy), Capricorn (Monte), and Cancer (both). The difference is
that we speak astrology, we knew this was coming, we know what’s going on (sort
of), and we know what to do – keep keeping on.
That is why I started this, what has turned into quite a
writing project. When the great forces are trying to blow you around, the best
thing to do is to center yourself and hang on to what you have and what you
are. In my case, I am a writer and an astrologer/psychic/tarot reader. Do what
you can to be who you are. Show the planetary forces who they are messing with.
It won’t stop them but, believe it or not, it will help them tailor their
messing with you to your greatest long-term benefit.
I am not trying to say that I know that the planets relate
to us as individuals. It may be wishful thinking on my part, but I’ve seen
great results from taking this attitude with the planets. I assume that life is
beautiful because my life became beautiful when Amy and her late mother entered
my life (you, too, Zane-o!) We’ve had our troubles and sorrows, but I think
life is beautiful, the purpose of life is to give your life purpose, the
meaning of life is to give your life meaning. This is how Amy and I do it, by
making art that affirms the beauty of life and the beauty of helping others. We
do it when we are happy and we do it when we are sorrow-filled. We do it when
things are going well and we do it when we don’t even know if things are going
at all.
We do it in the face of the planets, the unimaginable huge
and distant and different planets because we speak astrology and astrology
makes the planetary energies and their correlation inside of us come alive. And
so listen up, planets. Monte Farber and Amy Zerner are sharing your secrets
with our friends and fans. They are now being forewarned and forearmed
regarding the way your invisible vibrations may be affecting them. In your
face, with all due respect, we humans are going to be ourselves, not less of
ourselves cowering from your might and compulsions and lessons for us, just as
you planets are always yourselves. And we, too, are going to take on a bit of
your might and your glow and your strangeness as we respond as best we can to
the challenges that are facing humanity now as they never have before. Never
before were the people riding the Earth so able to identify with and
communicate with each other and yet never before have we all felt so isolated
by the very same technologies that have fundamentally changed the way humans
interact with each other.
We know that you planets are heralding the end of the Age of Pisces, a sign
that rules Faith in things Unseen, Large Institutions like corporations, government, hospitals, the military and religions; Films, Gases, Oil and the Ocean!!!
The BP
disaster is the bursting of the fabric of our complacency with the old ways of
power and kingship. We are about to change the way decisions are made and power
is exerted. We are ushering in the Age of Aquarius where technology will be
harnessed so that we can all vote on what is important in real time, the way
this book is being written in real time. We will never allow a mere corporate
entity or a government that refuses to govern with respect for life to kill living things with their negligence and put an entire sea
ecosystem at risk of destruction. The Age of Aquarius is going to be a time of
the good future, the Disney Future, the World's Fair future, not the future of out of control forces.
We, the people, will use the energy of you, the planets, to
make ourselves stronger and wiser and we will never, ever put our faith in
princes and pundits and even presidents, we will never again expect them to save us from these outdated Age of Pisces overly powerful entities. This
Cardinal T-Square contains all the seeds and all the energy that we need to
form and force the future to our liking. It is in this spirit that I write and
dedicate this mini-book to every person who reads it. We have met the future
and it is us.
