About Us
To be An Entrepreneur: DETERMINATION
Amy and I are authors and designers and we have have chosen not to have nine-to-five jobs. And so we have ninety-five jobs! That's the way it is when you have your own business, you tend to work seven days a week. There is always something, no, make that ninety-five things to do. The key is that we love our work and we love working together. To be an entrepreneur, you have to be very passionate and very secure and have faith in your abilities and the universe’s ability to recognize them and pay you for them. When you use the gifts and talents you are given and follow your bliss, I believe the unseen forces help you, and magic happens.
On rare occasions, the sudden realization that we make a living from our creativity does make us feel like you do when you climb high on a rickety old ladder and look down. However, we are immensely proud of the quality of our work and how it helps to inspire people. Sometimes, in the beginning of a career, when you are finding your path, certain pursuits become like buildings without doors to enter. Other times there will be opportunities that open like a flower. An important secret is that when things are right, you do not have to force them. If you find yourself having to force something, it is probably not right for you. This is as true in romantic relationships as it is in business.
