The Dream  
Under the star-spangled sky, The High Priestess of the Moon stands at the entrance of her sacred grotto temple. Passive and quiet, she represents the vessel of memory and holy female wisdom. Her powers are so great that she need not even use them, but the griffon at her feet senses her desires and goes to obey her. Her timeless secrets are communicated through an inner voice, or intuition, and only those wise enough to retreat into silence will know them. Above her, perched on a crescent moon, sits an owl--sacred to Athena, goddess of wisdom. The High Priestess' crown also evokes the waxing and waning moon and the natural rhythms of the female cycle. Her filmy veil and the water at her feet are symbols of the mysterious female energy that many men profess not to understand. The High Priestess effortlessly directs her psychic ability in harmony with the desires of her child, the universe. One hand is hidden behind the energy center at the base of her spine. The hand on her crown center signifies that true power comes from the use of our spiritual energies, available to us all.

The Awakening  
The all-seeing spiritual sight and image of The High Priestess should be invoked and meditated upon before asking any question. Her appearance is a message to go quietly within yourself, to first become aware of your eternal connection to all that is, was, and will be; the strength you gain from this knowledge will then bring insight.

The Enchantment  
For inner guidance and to strengthen your psychic abilities practice this enchantment daily. Close your eyes. Relax. Visualize yourself in the temple grotto with The High Priestess. Know that she exists only to help you and to answer your every question. While galaxies circle above you, pose your question without any attachment to the answer you will receive. In time she will offer you her hands and in them will be the symbol of your answer.
